I've ran into Mexican HUMVEES while chasing desert mule deer in Sonora in really remote locations where there just happened to be landing strips cleverly disguised around all four sides of a grape orchard.  Not a pleasant experience having a loaded rifle in your hand dressed in camo from head to toe having what looks like 14 year old boys with machine guns asking you questions you don't understand.

I have to admire the restraint you guys show in Texas with all this type of stuff going on.  I can't imagine what Pennsylvania would be like if Canada and the Canadians had a similar relationship as Mexcio does.

Tom Gresham actually mentioned that on his last show. National media doesn't cover 10% of what happens.

Chris, if you have the coordinates of that airstrip, I know a few BP agents that would be interested in paying a visit!

Sonora is Mexico - under most circumstances we respect the border and provide aid to the Mexican government which they in turn exchange for money from the Cartels and we wind up fighting our own equipment.  I do have a solution: de-criminalize marijuana and other drugs and regulate them as a mental health issue. Poof that takes the money out of it.  We dont do that cause too many people make a living fighting the war on drugs. The only other solution is to kill everyone involved but we dont have the stomach for that.  (I use the term  we very looslely here refrencing our leaders, as some of us remember the Alamo).

China did, thats how they got nearly their entire population off opium... Public executions, drastic, but effective.

My bad, I thought he was referring to hunting in Texas and running into these guys.

I agree with you there.  Maybe that is what has kept me out of LE jobs in the past, is not being politically correct enough for them.

Chief of Police did the seize and repaint thing in Waterloo IA.  A guy had been selling drugs but every time they arrested him, he got off.  When they finally nailed him, the chief had his corvette painted black and white.  It was really quite funny.

Well when %$^$ hits the fan, I hope you'll take me and my wife from SC.  She's a pretty good shot too ;).

Political correctness will be the end of us. The U.S. too.
