Good Morning,

I wanted to let everyone know I will be updating the Terminal Velocity for iPad database with the new scopes and bullets for 2011.  I've scheduled the release for the end of January as I need to review the manufacturer's websites for updated items, and then load them accordingly.  Updates are free as always.  For those not familiar with the software please visit:

Thank you,

Jeff Nelson

The iPad is a ton of fun, no doubt.  I use mine daily.  It is so much more convenient for internet and stuff, as well as most of the games are cheap!  I leave mine in "sleep" mode so one press of a button I'm on the net.  No more booting up my PC and waiting...

Wish I had one too. The thing that sets this app apart is the ability to pair scopes with cartridges and ballistics data. I don't think anyone else has thought of taking that approach.

I know!  Maybe someday "they" will build a laser that can measure total wind deflection from point A to B and tell you how much to dial.  This is really more of a shopping tool.  It has saved me from buying the wrong scope (not enough adjustment for the ranges I shoot) a couple of times.  After seeing how well it worked I dressed it up and put it on the iTunes app store.

I REALLY need to get an iTouch version done.  I have been swamped with work, as well as taking up Thai Kick boxing with my Daughters (8 and 11).  I call THAT quality family time!

My 11 year old got her first .22 rifle for Christmas.  The 8 year old got her "cricket" .22 for her birthday in Sept.  Yes, the pink one...

It would be interesting to see what the program says but I dont have an iPad.  You will probably help save some from buying scopes with not much internal adjustment. Just wondering does it have the Super Sniper models built into its data base?

Yes - Brady gave me those specs about 6 months ago.

I'm glad I wrote it.  It put my "mind at ease" when I got the Hensoldt!

I'd spring for the iPhone/Touch version.

Being a long time, since the beginning, Mac person, I like your application very much.  However, I find the 100 yard increments limiting and suggest you make the JBM "step" and go to multiple increments down to 1 yard/meter.  I've not made the "jump" to iPad, yet... waiting on the technology to stabilize a bit first.  However, I really like the work done on this application.

Muay Thai is a favorite of mine.  Stick with it with the girls, it is useful in so much more than the physical aspects.

Any plans to make it on other platforms?

The only Apple product I currently have is the iPhone and this is the last Apple product I will ever buy.  When my contract expires, I'll move to something else.
