I just got a new ARD for my SS from swfa, and it makes the scope get fuzzy no matter where it is directed, and also doesn't really do anything to reduce the suns glare. The clarity difference when it is on or off makes the defference between being able to read the little yellow 10 on the shoot-n-c targets at 200 meters.
I have never purchased a kill flash before, so I don't know what is normal and what isn't. anyone help me out, I love my new ss and I don't want to stack sunshades on it, my rifle barely fits in my safe as it is.

Unless I am very wrong the purpose of the killflash is to minimize the forward reflection of the objective lens. If you are a sniper in the field the reflection from the objective lens can give out your position kill flash device makes it less likely.

It will always make the resolution and light transmission a bit worse in exchange.

Exactly right.

The Kill Flash ain't going to enhance your scopes performance, it's going to keep the bad guy from seeing the glare of your scope, thus giving away your position.
