Need a liitle help please: What is the max scope obj diameter for the TC rings, max scope objective diameter for medium rings and/or high rings? Will a 44 AO obj scope (like the Conquest) fit well on med TC rings or do I have to go to high rings??

I dont have the specs in front of me but I would say that you would be better off using the high rings if you are placing them on an Encore or Omega because you have to be able to cock the hammer. If for some reason you are putting those rings on something else who knows. In either case I would recommend Leupolds quick detaching rings and base for Encore or Omega.

I think you would be better off going with the high as well, the mediums may not give you the clearance that you
need. It really depends on what type of barrel you have..It's hard to say since we can see the set up..But that's
what I would recommend.. |

I have an Encore that wore the Conquest. I used Warne Maxima low rings without a problem with fit. You do, however, want to be able to safely let the hammer down while wearing gloves. The hammer extensions caused me a lot of misfires. To answer your question: Medium. As for objective, I'd get a scope with the smallest practical objective size regardless. If I have to crank the scope to 6 or higher in low light, the shot's too far anyway. IMHO
