I guess you will need to clarify what you want to know about the scope.  Are you asking for an opinion on the scope? Do you want specifics about the scope? ie coatings, weight, size, ect..

The above post mentions that it is made in China.  Generally speaking scopes that are made in China are known for being poor quality and with the general belief that they are junk.

I have heard (never handled or seen) that the Tasco World Class is better than a standard Tasco, to me that is like saying a Yugo deluxe is better than a standard Yugo car..you can keep both.  I personally have never been a fan of Tasco all of the products I have handled have been not up to an acceptable standard.

I am not an optics snob, I don't think every guy out there needs a Schmidt & Bender $2000 + rifle scope. However, I do think that when most people are looking for a deal if they are willing to spend a bit more they can get a pretty nice rifle scope that will serve them well and not cost that much more then a cheaper scope.

So my question back at you, is what are you looking at using the scope for? What magnification range are you looking at? What rifle caliber is it going to be mounted on?

Happy shooting

AC

I have had several Tasco 3-9 world class scopes and they have worked well and been reliable even on heavy kicking rifles .375H&H & 50 cal musket. The clicks seem to be fairly crisp and precise in their adjustment. When I cant afford to put an expensive scope on something I put one of these on untill I can.

i have a regular world class on a 30/30 that kicks like a mule -

it has held zero and harvested many deer over the years.

if you need an inexpensive scope, it's not bad at all.
