Guys i have chance to buy a tasco ss 20x42 at a fair price. I don't remember how long it's been since it was called a tasco by name, but it's been a while.
What changes have been made by swfa to improve it if any and what is the windage/elavation on the tasco? Has that changed as well since swfa got it? Thanks for any help, blue.

For the most part, quality control, is what has changed from the Tasco days. I believe that SWFA honors the old warranty, but you should probably call on that.
The windage and elevation adjustments on the fixed 20x has always 1/4 MOA, and a lot of it. Usually over 120 Minutes if adjustment. I hope this helps.

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Thanks billyburl2, that helps alot. Even though the tasco came with quick detach rings and flip top covers i ordered a ss 20x42 this morning. My savage/krieger .260 tactical has a simmons wtc 6.5-20x50ao on it now and it works good, but i have been wanting to try the ss for a while now. Since i do most of my shooting from 100-600yds it should be perfect. blue
