I have an old Tasco Euro Class 1.5-6x44mm scope. It is a nice scope and is serving me well on an AR. However, the lens coatings appear to be marred or maybe someone tried to clean the lens with their shirt tail. Is there some place that can recoat the lenses?

Buy a new scope. Put that on a 22.

That is certainly an option. It was my understanding that SWFA initiated the development of the Tasco Euro Class scopes and they were on par with some of the higher end scopes at the time. I don't know the date of manufacture but it is labeled as made in Japan so I was hopefully that it is better than average.
