I'm new to this forum and this question probably has been asked. I have a 1" Ziess scope with a 50mm objective. The scope is to be mounted on a Rem. Sendero  with no lens cap, my question is what height mount should I get to keep scope as close to the barrel with out touching it Medium or high? THANKS, Loganman

I have had a 50obj on my rem 700 with a set of medium talleys before.  I think you'll be safe with the mediums.

I have a 50 on my CZ Brno 600 and I'm pretty sure I have medium also.

Yep, should be good to go with the mediums, my friend.

Great choice and welcome to Optics Talk.
