I decided to try some these mounts and   they just came in today from swta.Well after mounting them i must say i am very pleased.I really like the way they are designed and how they look.I have almost always used leupold mounts with dovetail and windage adjustment but these talleys are just so simple to mount a scope with .Im going to use these more for my set ups and and others as well.I have never liked aluminum mounts but these suckers are solid.  Also an A+ for swta. These mounts were 30mm and they were placed on backorder .Still took less than two weeks to get them.

I just used my first set of Talley lightweights after several of the guys on here recommened them. Like you I am very pleased with the quality and look. I really like the way the bottoms match up with the firearm.

I have decided to try these, I was skeptical on the anodized alum at first but my choices have been cut to few . . from what I'm reading, and seeing they look solid.. do you guys use some sort of friction paper on them to better 'grip' the scope or just mount as is??
