I love the way they look especiallly on remington rifles.  I know they are strong and I really wish they were made of steel.  But is there a caliber limit to them?  Would you guys put them on hard kicking calibers?

I emailed them about putting them on my remington 300 RUM and their response was "go for our vertical split ring style".  So they never really answered my question.

Thoughts?

I have a set on a 45-70 that has a steady diet of heavy handloads.  Also on a 7 lbs 300 wsm.  So far my sets are holding up just fine.  The 45-70 has over 500 rounds with them, the 300 wsm between 200 and 300.

I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night. LOL. Mine were on a 300 WSM X Bolt and did fine.
