I've bought a Thompson Encore Prohunter rifle 25-06.

my scope is a Leupold VariX-3  4.5-14x40mm

I take a look for a Talley one piece mount.

I want to know what's the right height for my scope,

i have check on there site and they said LOW for a scope up to 44mm objective.

To make sure, i've ask them by email and the answer was Medium.

I'm confused, i reply them for a confirmation and no answer at all.

If you have this kind of set-up can you tell me which one exactly i should order???

thx

yves

Finally Talley send me few one,

The best fit is the Talley Extended Medium heigth.

The standart talley, shouldnt exist IMO.
They put the scope right in youre face.

The Extended give you a bit more clearance for normal eye relief.

The height, Medium is fine.
Low are too low, hard to have acces to the hammer.
Medium give you the clearance you need to put the hammer down.
