    Posted: October/06/2010 at 04:49
May be I'm being dumb. May be it's because it's so early in the morning but I'm confused as to which Talley 2 piece bases I need.
I have a 1984 vintage Winchester Model 70 XTR in 30-06. Could some one please  give a little direction to a confused soul?
Thanks for the help.

you looking for the bases and rings or the one piece lightweight aluminum rings.  I believe the 30-06 is a long action if that helps

Thanks a lot for the replies. I was having a bad one this morning.
I wanted the separate bases and rings but the one piece ones are looking better and better.
