If I may ask...

Why are you limiting yourself to just 2 scopes?? Nothing wrong with the 2 you are considering, but with the quality and options that are available today, the best option for YOU, may be neither one.

I have found the best approach to the "which scope question" is to consider your budget, application, etc. This will also help the forum consider which magnifacation power to recommend.

I happen to like IOR, and have owned 2 of them.

Welcome to the board!!

I have a 2.5-10x42 iluminated, a 4.-14x50 iluminated , they are oustanding, now Im looking for a super M2 6x30. I think you will be happy with all of them.

Leupold offers a more diverse selection as far as powers, objectives, knobs, reticles, tube, etc.

True, Chris.

And eye relief.

IOR's have stated a 3.75" ER. That "may" be true as far as the fixed scopes are concerned.

I beg to differ on the variables. I couldnt keep that IOR I had off my eyel!!...
