Im looking for a new REAL tactical scope. I want iluminated range estimating reticle, 1/4moa clicks, side focus, good elevation adjustemments, cost 1200 u$ or less....

At this time my choices are:

IOR 6-24x50 IL MP8

Leupold MK4 6.5-20x50 mildot iluminated

Both are good I know....but, which do you prefer and why

Now im thinking more on IOR because they offer good cuality and a pair of great rings and a sunshade...

Leupold MK4 6.5-20X50 IL has any advantage compared to the choosen IOR ?( Im not from USA, so, the leupold suport service is not better than IOR service for me ).

Do you have another (with the wanted specifications) in mind ???

The REAL tactical scope usually do not have alot of bells and whistles. They are rugged, dependable, repeatable, and have Mildot reticles. The only scopes that I would use in any real threat situation (I believe, Brady correct me if I'm wrong) can not be exported from the US except by the US GOV.

Besides the illuminated reticle the XOTIC is another choice you can consider. Couldn't go that route if you're outside the US. What country are you in? Maybe you can get into one of the Zeiss 6-24x56 Diavari VM/V at a cheaper price than what we list.

The export of optics is restricted under the International Traffic of Arms Registration (ITAR), category 1.  This is regulated by the Department of Defense and carries a minimum fine of 10 million dollars.
