I'm going to suggest again that everyone read "The Marching Morons" by C.M. Kornbluth.  And "The Black Bag".

Hmmm....Don't know if this is true.
Even the UN said that evidence so far is only circumstantial against Assad.
Every time I see John Kerry talking about this issue, it looks to me like he is lying. Maybe I'm just used to all the lies from this administration and expect everything they say to be a lie.

Nah, Kerry's lying. I'd tell him that to his face.

Syria --  This is what one calls a "dilema" there in quite simply no good choice.  Both sides in the fight are clearly not our allies.  It is quite clear that the current govt is the ally of Russia. In fact one could guess with certain accuracy that any nasty weapons Syria has - probably were developed out of an ongoing relationship with Russia. The fact that chemical and nuclear weapons exist is a problem because once out - you can't put the genie back in the bottle.  Providing arms and munitions to anyone in the countries surrounding Israel is at the very least ill advised and likely to cause increased violence in the region. Syria is essentially like throwing money at Afghanistan in that the more money we spend there and the more we try to influence them, the more they dislike us.  Where if we just leave them alone the feeling toward us us more like: we just are not a part of their reality. The middle east has gone out of their way to make death a painful miserable process since long before the crusifiction of Christ - so does anyone really think that they will all of a sudden change and they will all act civil and use reason and common sense?  They live in a knife culture, they only understand superior force, they respect the length and sharpness of your blade.  You have to remember most of them have no idea what toilet paper is.  I wish they could work out their problems peacefully, but am I inclined to send my kids to war there? - NO! It's almost certainly a pointless venture and an unreasonable expense we can not afford, following 12 years of bankrupting war in Iraq and Afghanistan with no clear victory and  no spoils of war such as taking their oil fields.   They hate us, we try to help them, they hate us even more.  So lets sit this one out.  Or we nuke them and quite frankly I was a big fan of the only thing going to Bagdad was one ICBM with one short range tactical nuke - imagine the lives and money that would have saved us and the point it would have made: "We dont care where you are we can push a button here and kill you anywhere in the world".  That is a message all our enemies would understand.  I told HLSEM in 01 we needed to fund CIA and cut them loose to kill the enemies of this country through black ops. That is the cost effective way to do business. It just is not politically correct. If the enemy is not afraid of you - they will come  F with you.

FYI

"It is WRONG to judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics."

BUT,

"It is OK to judge all gun owners by the actions of a few lunatics."

You’re welcome.
