Welcome to The OT, Ricky.

Lot's of good scopes out there, but Swift scopes have been crucified on many gun forums.

Take the SS. You'll be glad you did.

I purchased a Swift 4-12X50 about six years ago. I had it mounted on a target 10/22. Recently (after several thousand rounds) the reticles went out of focus and I could not get them adjusted correctly.

I call the Swift support and explained the issue. They provided a return authorization number and called today to say they would replace the scope under warranty. They are sending me a 6-18X50 AO; my only cost was the shipping to return the scope. I was very pleased and appreciative of their service.

I would not mount one on my 308 or 7mm Mag but for a 22 rimfire I would buy another without hesitation.
