HELP!!!  DOES ANYONE REALLY KNOW ABOUT THE SWIFT PREMIER SCOPES THAT CAN TELL ME ABOUT WHAT I HAVE PURCHASED??  IT IS A LONG STORY AS TO HOW /AND WHY, BUT I AM NOW THE PROUD OWNER OF A BRAND NEW SWIFT PREM.30mm , 2.5-10x,50mm, mod.#SRP3908M RIFLE SCOPE. MOUNTED ON A BROWNING  BAR .300WSM.     WILL  THIS SCOPE HOLD UP TO THE RECOIL??  ARE THE OPTICS AS GOOD AS THEY PROCLAIM TO BE??  ARE THE RETICLES GOING TO MAINTAIN THEIR SETTING ??I STILL HAVEN'T SHOT THE RIFLE WITH THE SWIFT YET, BUT I AM STILL WANTING TO KNOW ABOUT THE SCOPE . IT SEEMS THAT I CANNOT GET ANY RELIABLE ANSWERS ABOUT THE SCOPE, EXCEPT THAT ANYONE WHO EVER RESPONDS, TELLS ME HOW GOOD NIKON, LEOPOLD, BURRIS ETC. IS, BUT NO ONE TELLS ME A DARN THING ABOUT THE SWIFT. EVEN ONE OF THE EDITORS OF F&S GAVE  ME THE SAME TYPE OF RESPONSE. AND ON WHAT LEVEL OF SCOPE DOES THIS SWIFT PREMIER COMPARE TO??  IE., BURRIS,BUSHNEL, WEAVER ?????NOT TO BE CATIGORIZED ONLY BY THE MSRP($379.99)( BUT I HAD THE PRIVIGE OF PAYING $495.00), BUT BY KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE ABOUT THE SCOPE. ~~~ THANK YOU WHO EVER YOU ARE THAT CAN HELP ME OUT HERE!!

Never owned one, but hey, sounds like you never have either .  Shoot the thing and come back a tell me something about it.  Please turn off your caps. it hard to read, and considered impolite.

The 2009 SWFA Riflescope Rating Scale places Swift scopes in level 10 out of 12 levels. Not sure what the issues are, but not very encouraging. I own a 3-9X40MM SRP that was made in Korea. I believe some are assembled in China? The optics are nothing special but adequate for hunting inside 200 yds. I have my scope mounted on a 25-06 Marlin XL7 and it has done fine through one deer season. I can't say for certain but I would be leary of mounting one on a 300 WSM. I suspect there is a good reason the SWFA Scale rates them so low, and it may well be be durability.

Swift Premier scopes with 30mm tube are fairly new, so I do not think you wil find a whole lot of people who have tried them.  The much less expensive 1" tube Swift Premier scopes are pretty decent for the money and are comparable to Burris Fullfield II and similar scopes.

I have two of the 1inch models and even at high mag (20X) they are clear and precise.
Never shot one on a high recoil rifle.
I probably wouldn't trust it but wouldn't call it junk, either.
Definitely a step above Tasco, BSA, and other low end.
I liked mine enough to buy another.
Good warranty, too.
