If I were to post measurements from the front to back base mounting holes on my rifle, the outside diameter of the objective bell on my scope, and the max ring spacing the scope will allow, could SWFA tell me if the 1pc Talleys will work and the height ring/base I need? APPRECIATE the help.

I don't know if you've tried it yet, but I contacted Talley for my information. I just gave them my rifle model, and caliber(short action) the scope I was going to mount, and the outside diameter of the objective bell, and they gave me a model number for the mounts. They were perfect with my objective bell about 1/8" off the barrell.

Just got an e-mail from Talley ALREADY! Just sent it Friday. In case anyone needs the info,I was told that the Talley 1pc aluminum ring/base set #94X700 will work on a Howa LA using a scope w/a 50mm OD objective,w/a max ring spacing of 5.14",and using std 6-42 screws.
