Any word yet on arrival time of these mounts. And those of you that have them are they worth the wait? Or should I go with Burris AR-PEPR or Nikon M-223? Thanks in advance for any opinions and comments.

I like the salt because you can use both 30mm and 1" scopes with the inserts.  Its like two mounts in one.  They are worth the wait as well.

+1 what SVT said. It is a good design, however I think they had some QC problems with the original manufacturor and have since changed manufacturors.
Unless your in a hurry for a mount, I would stick with the S.S.A.L.T. mount. It is a lot of mount for the money, and you can not beat SWFA's customer service.

Thats one of the things that really appealed to me is the option to be able to use for a 1" or 30mm. Thanks for the feed back. Ive been waiting since Thanksgiving and was told 2-3 weeks. So I guess Im just getting a little anxious.

Took delivery of mine last week and mounted it to my DPMS .308 classic on Sat. Was worth the wait, good looking solid mount. 80 in/lb on the rail nuts made me get a little puckered, but worked up incrementally and everything was fine. Now for some decent weather so I can get out and sight in Smile.

FYI 80 in/lbs is to much. We usually do a MAX of 65 in/lbs. With that being said I am glad it worked out for you and hope it serves you well.
