So I broke down and ordered a Super Sniper in 20x mag from samplelist and I have a couple of questions. I know that tasco used to make these scopes and they were nowhere near the quality of of the SWFA ones, but when I recieved mine it had a tasco manual with it. Does tasco still make them? I am probably missing something here but do you think i got an older model? Any info would be greatly appreciated, so please help a newbie out.

I had the same questions when I got mine. I was assured by Mr. Faris that they are not Tasco just tgat they have a lot of manuals left over, he also said to disreguard the warranty card.

It helps to keep the costs down to the end user by using the old manuals instead of making new ones with SWFA on them, which is what the SS scope is all about.  Getting a quality scope without the huge price.  The info in the manual is the correct info for the scope.

Not to worry the scope is a new model not the one built by tasco just throw the manual away and get a mil dot master  http://swfa.com/Mil-Dot-Master-P91.aspx
