I am glad you've got this sorted out. I have tested two of these rather extensively and they have been damn near perfect in terms of reticle alignment.

I got my 1-4×24 yesterday. . I am very impressed!! I mounted it on my 6.5 Creedmoor carbine and it is just perfect.
Thanks Skyler for the advice. !! I'm going to have to get another one for my wife and put it on her Ruger M77 Mk2 SS Compact 308. . I had her look thru it on my rifle and she Really wants one. I sighted it in with the top of the diamond being on at 100 yards. I'll have to do some more shooting to figure my drops at 200,300+400. . Since most of my shooting is at 100 yards or less and the 10×42 just wasn't cutting it on a general purpose carbine, M77 Mk2 SS Hawkeye that I chopped the barrel to 18.6". Now with this scope and the factory synthetic stock on. The rifle is nice and lively Even on 1x I managed about a 2.5" 3 shot group @100. With it and on 4 x I was chewing out the center of the bull. So while my bragging groups are much smaller with the 10x42 Ss MD Classic. The usefulness of this rifle is greatly enhanced with this scope. I was concerned about the variable eye relief but using the scope it is not a problem at all. Tho it may be a little short for my 458, I'll try it and see. It will work.on my 9.3×64 Brenneke quite well . |

it is a sweet scope for the money. Bought one when they 1st came out at the reduced price. Kick myself for selling it, but made 50 bucks on the deal. Enjoy.

I recent compared mine side by side with the new Vortex Crossfire 1-6. The SWFA 1-4 is miles ahead, the glass and the reticle are much better. The Vortex (and I am a big fan of Vortex) had a yellow/orange tint to the glass and the reticle was too fat for any kind of precision.

I just picked up the older 1x4 vortex strikefire. Would have grabbed the SWFA 1x4 but the vortex was a bit cheaper. Hands down the SWFA is clearer. Didn't need all the extensions SWFA offered either. The vortex will do the job I need it for on my short barrel 308 but wished I had the bucks for the SWFA.
