We received the largest amount of snow in a one day period since they started keeping records 130 years ago.

Power at our facility has been going down and coming back up an going down again over and over.  Our web servers are located at a co-lo center in downtown Dallas with triple redundant everything so our sites will stay up (I hope).

Our offices are not open because no one is able to make it yet.  As soon as the snow melts enough for us to get out of our driveways we will be in to answer the phones.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I do think we will be operational sometime around 2:00 pm Central.

Chris

UPDATE:  Snow is gone and its business as usual.  Yippee

Yes, Chris, I read yesterday that the democrats and the green-idiots have determined that it is understandable that global warming is leading to some of the coldest temperatures and heaviest snowfalls ever experienced...

I can see that...

God knows I love SWFA (and all those who work there) and hope to get there someday, but I'm not shall I say, a "texas fan" so as long as no one is hurt I hope it snows 2 feet down there!  Thunbs Up

Seriously... be safe and don't drive if you don't have too.

Global warming.  Last year the fruit bats said that the reason DC and parts of Virginia that used to get snow and had ski runs and didn't now was because of global warming.  This year when they get a "snowpocalypse" it is because of global warming.  Spaghetti theory.

Everything runs in cycles including the weather.  Some of our hottest records on file are prior to the industrial revolution.

I saw something briefly on The Discovery Channel about the magnetic poles flipping and that is happening right now but takes many many years to complete.   It happens every so many thousands of years and when it does huge weather changes accompany it.
