Hi Everyone,
I am new to this blog and needed some suggestions to which SWFA scope I should purchase for my Savage Arms model 111 .338 Lapua Magnum rifle. Between SWFA 20X42 MILDOT ( budget friendly ) or SWFA 5-20X50 MMRAD I don't hurt, mainly purchased the 338 to learning MOA and long range shooting from 300m to 1600m. |

5-20X50 IT IS A LITTLE EASIER ON THE EYES AND A LITTLE BETTER BUILT.
Oops sorry for yelling. I believe you will like the variable better, maybe even look at the new 3-15x...

Of the 2 listed, definitely the 5-20. I would NOT get a fixed power scope for a 338, the round does too much to be limited by the deficiencies of a fixed 20X.
Personally, I'd go for the 3-15, but that is purely personal preference.
