Is there an SWFA Ratings Scale for spotting scopes like there is for rifle scopes?

I don't think so.  But, if you have a price range, I'm sure somebody can point you in the right direction.

I'd like to keep it around $300 if possible.

I have a Burris High Country 20-60x60 now and it is terrible, so I want to stay away from that price/quality group (~$120). But I don't know how high I have to go to get decent quality.
