I ran into a little problem with a SS10x42 I had.  I had it for about six years all the while building my rifle into a custom.  Well little by little everything came together.  However between new this and new that my zero changed ever so slightly.  Evertime my zero changed a click or two I would slip the knobs back to zero.  I did it so many times that the brass erectors under the knobs had so many indintations from the set screws I couldn't accurately set the rings back to the zero mark.

So I PM and call Chris and he explains to me that things have been changed, better this and better that.  He also instructed me to send the scope back and he would replace it with a new scope, no questions, no other costs to me other than shipping back to him.

What Chris sent me was another SS10x42 rear focus with better glass, better knobs, better everything.  I was zeroed after a boresight with 7 rounds and then proceeded to bang steel at 200- 500 yards.  Couldn't get to the 800 yard range but 500 would be good for now.  Well I dialed in the MOA I knew would correct for drop at 500 yards and scored a first round hit.  I then proceeded to knock over 5 more steel plates at 500 yards.  I said "ok everythings on no problem," and proceeded to dial and shoot steel at 300, then 200, then 400 yards.  I hit everyone and proceeded to put three other shooters, two of them women behind the rifle and all were able to hit at all ranges.  I forgot to shoot another 100 yard return to zero confirmation, but I know it will be when I hit the range tomorrow.

So to make a long story short, anyone looking for a fantastic, dead nuts reliable, repeatable and robust scope without breaking the bank, look no further than the SS10x42.  Also take complete confidence in the customer service Chris and his team provide, you will be taken care of.

Thanks again Chris.

It means allot, don't it!
Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.
