It should be quite popular when it comes out.  Im really anxious to hear more about the 5-20 model that is one I would like to have.

Is there going to be a 4-16 as well or am I just dreaming???

Thanks for the honest answer about the time line.

I already own a SWFA Super Sniper 16X, and will buy more SWFA products in the future.

But thanks again, and good luck on the product development.

I don't expect you to give an exact date.  All I want to know is if you think it will be available by this fall.  I recently finished an AR build I want to use for pig hunting this fall and winter.  Right now it's scopeless, waiting on the SS 1-4X.  If it isn't going to be available by Nov, I need to know, because I will either buy another scope now or pull a scope off another rifle so I can go ahead and play with my new AR until it is.   I'd rather not have to do either.  If it will be available by November, there's no point in me spending money on another scope I really don't need, and I'll continue waiting.  I don't mind waiting as long as it takes, but I would like to have a general idea of whether I should make other plans or not.

I prefer the BDC reticle in the 1-4x SS. When is the BDC model going to be available ? I have an AR that's waiting for a 1-4x & if the BDC model is going to be many months I can't wait and need to go ahead and get another 1-4x. Any lead time for the 1-4x SS would be much appreciated.

The nearest anyone can say it will be out is... when it is done. As far as pice goes it is said earlier in the thread to be in the 7-800 ball park. Other than that the testing and development continues... At least as far as I have heard.

So Chris, why didn't you tell me to wait when I ordered my CMR 1x4 from you a couple months ago? Not complaining because this particular Leatherwood is outstanding!

probably cause there is no timetable on the release date and if could be a while before they go on sale.  They don't speculate release dates until they have them on the shelves to ship.

Might also be bad judgement on his part to recommend his own product line.

Hey Chris, CFII, Brady, or any other SWFA guys/gal.  Any update you can give us on the development of this thing?  Just curious what the latest is with it if you can tell us.

This 1-4X looks great and it's something I'd buy--even more than once, but I've never seen a SS warranty written down anywhere.  This is as good a place as any to ask.  The Vortex and Leupold riflescope warranties are easy to understand. :)

The SS are the same.  If it breaks, Chris and the Folks at SWFA will take care of it.  BTW the key word was IF......  One member on here had a 10X that he ran over with his full size truck and it had no ill effects on the scope, same couldn't be said for the gun it was riding.

So, will two reticles be offered for sale or will only one get a go?
