Im interested in the 3.5-18X44 Z5 with the BT and 4W reticle but I was wondering how thick the reticle is, say compared to a Z-plex on a conquest. Do any of you find it difficult to see in dim lighting?

Any other input on the Z5 would also be appreciated.

Have that exact scope, no troubles for me in low light. Not quite as bold as the plex in my conquest but still plenty usable in falling light.

Ok, good the Z5 seems like good value over the Diavaris which seem overpriced to me considering you get more features with the Swarovski. Or am I missing something?

How is the ballistic turret working for you? And how much adjustment does the elevation turret have?

I used the Bt that come on it  for a while then bought a dial straight from Swaro that I could dial in more accurately.  IT works great for me.  I can't recall the max elevation I have but I know to 500  I have no problems with my 300 WSM which is as far as I'd take a shot on game with that gun.

What kind of dial? You replaced the BT turret?

you can get a dial similar to a target dial....

Its just a bit easier to go "in between" the colored flags with this one.

I've got to where I think both are beneficial the flags make changing quick.. the turrent gets a bit more precise but not quite as fast.

Can the turret be used like a regular one (where you can just dial the scope) or can it only be used as a ballistic turret, and the click values are just some kind of function of the data you put into the ballistic calculator on the Swaro website?

when I called them I asked they just mark it every 4 clicks and they did.  They did not want to do this initially.
