I am soon to get a Sako Finnlite 22-250 to mainly shoot Ground Hogs and am looking at a Swarovski PH 4-16X50 with the BR recticle. I already have a Sako Deluxe Vixen 223 and a Weatherby Super Predator Master 223 both topped with Swarovski Z6 2-12X50 with Plex recticle but get confused with holdover after 200-250yds. What is your opinion and experiance with this type of recticle?

I have that reticle on 2 scopes.  For varmints and the like I like it.  You can go to the Swarovski web site plug in your load data and the and the hold over pop up for every power level the scope offers.  If you had to use this reticle in low-light I would use something else.

I've got a Z3 4x12x50 BR on my Remington VSSF .223 varmit rifle and I really like it a lot.  You can't beat the glass in a Swarovski Scope.

If i were putting a Swarovski scope/reticle on a long-range chuck rig i'd get the BRX reticle that gives a more direct system of windage reference.
