I bought one today.  Wanted something fairly inexpensive to burn up some ammo with.  I really like it.  Not really sighted in yet, just "Kentucky windaged" it, but am hitting the spinners at 25yds with it now.  I took it up to 15 feet from a paper target, figured out where it was shooting, then started on the spinners.  I still miss some of the spinners, but a living, breathing thing would not get away... The sights really are not "fine" enough for shooting the spinners at 25 yards... have to guess where the target is behind the sight.  I'll probably put a cheapo red dot on it... comes with a built in rail... way cool.  It is pretty fun.  I got it so my wife would shoot more.  Just pick it up, go out on the back porch, pop off a couple of magazines, every day.  That is what builds confidence and skill.
I used to shoot a box of 22 through my 10/22 EVERY day and two or three times a week shot all my rifles and pistols.  Haven't done that in a while.  I need to give up work...

Life's concerns should be about the 120lb pack your trying to get to the top of the mountain, and not the rock in your boot.

I see it has interchangable barrels.Thunbs Up

I use a couple of 22 conversion kits for practice. They aren't as accurate as a Mod. 41 S&W, but they're accurate enough for the intended purpose.

I haven't messed with one of them before, what does the button on the front the trigger guard operate?

I'm betting that it releases the barrel from the frame, so you can clean or change barrels.

That is what it does...

It's pretty accurate.  The guy at the gun store said it about 95% of a 41 at 20% the price.  Seems to shoot pretty well.

My next is probably a FNH Five Seven.  I've got an itch to have one of those.  Started to buy one on a SWFA auction some time back, should have...

I had one of those a few years ago that I traded away, like a fool. I had an el cheapo red dot on it. As I have said before, it was like cheating.

Finally replaced it with a Ruger 22/45. The Ruger eats any ammo, where the Smif could be a little picky. That is the only thing it does better. I actually like the take down on the Smif better.

It likes the Remington Thunderbolt, so far.  I shoot 40gr .22 ammo.  Has always worked well for me.  I'll try the CCI later.  This thing looks like a competitor.  I may have to try some match ammo in it.

You've got a keeper if it will eat T-bolts.

I was in Alaska when I had mine so I didn't get a chance to try a lot of brands. But CCI mini-mags were cheap back then so I didn't really care.
