Nice looking rifle!!!     I had a S&W 1500 just like that at one time.  A 222 Remington.  A great rifle, but I traded it away in a multi-gun trade to get my hands on a pre 64 Winchester.

This rifle has always been "underpriced".  A great looking and great shooting rifle, a real value... 

I'm thinking about it...

30-06 is still my all around fave... I love the "big bores", but when it comes to availability, utility, reliability, dependability... 30-06 is it.
