My first suppressor, Specwar 762, is hopefully only about 2 months away from being in my hand. I do have a few questions.

Can you take it to other states without filing atf paperwork? on the bottom of the form 4 it says "

Some people I talked to and read  say no. its a NFA item all NFA item require the form to be approved. I emailed the ATF and ask them if silencers applied to the rule, but they just sent me the form and said this is form for interstate travel on nfa items.   They did not clarify anything. I  visit two shooting ranges regulary one in my homestate TN, and few miles over the line in KY.

Can someone recommend a suppressor cover? I was looking at the TAB and FTW HAD

Is there any thing in particular  about them I need to know, maintenance, care,  or do i just put it on and blast away?
And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

As long as the state you are going to has the same NFA laws your state has, you do not have to file. If the state is not NFA compliant you can not use it there. KEEP YOUR PAPERS WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES REGARDLESS.
if it is a SBR, full auto yes you have to file your going to use it in another state.

My TAB gear cover moves a bit more than I would like, my Armageddon cover doesn't move at all.  Both are good thermal shields to cut down on mirage.

The Cole-tacs look good, tight fit is very important if you don't want it hanging up on everything.
Freedom is something you take.
Respect is something you earn.
Equality is something you whine about not being given.
