I have a 16X SS in which the nobs are mushy. There is no distinctive click, I have tried resetting them, much to no avail. Any options?

Spin them up and down a few times.  They are sometimes mushy because the grease has not yet settled in.  Once the grease works its way in, the clicks become quite clear.

Let me know if that solves the problem.

I have been using one for about 6 months on a .22 and constantly using the turrets, and they still stick on the first click. The clicks are somewhat soft. It doesn't bother me enough to bother getting different orings or replacing the grease.

I did the up and down thing [several times], still mushy, took the turrets off, cleaned the dickens out of the inside, used silcone lube [sparingly] to re-lube it, still too mushy, in winter cannot hear clicks, really hard to turn, only one option left, replace the factory O-rings, with ones that are not so fat and tight, with ones that are thinner but will still provide protection from moisture. Have no idea what the nomenclature is on the factory part, so what would the size needed for replacement. My shooting is mainly off a bench, but reserve the option to use them for hunting, but not in very inclement weather. TIA
If you can read you can see it coming.

Maybe you should just contact SWFA and send it in...you could spend the money goofing with it and still not be happy or just let them see if they can tweak it or give you a different one and be set.
