Since this question has come up a few times and the information is not readily available, I thought I would give you the best information I can figure out. I hope this helps.
The SS mil dot ret. has .2 mil sized round mil dots on the scope. I used that as a scale in a cad oriented PDF editor. That would make the cross hairs at a little under .05 mil. This is a best scaled guess. I am not in any way stating this as technical information.
Dot .2 mil = .72 inches at 100 yds close to 3/4 of an in
Ret .05 mil = .18 inches at 100 yds close to 5/32 of an inch or a little over 1/8 in
Here is a picture of a stop sign at a little over 100 yds through a ss 16x. As you can see it does not cover a lot of the target.
