Used my Super Sniper 20x for the first time on 4th of July. I was shooting late in the afternoon and several of us noticed it was hard to get a good view of the reticle. Seemed the eye relief was hard to line up on the 20x. Dark shadow around the view in the scope until you lined it up. Was very hard for all of us that used the gun with the scope. Has anyone had this issue with 20x when not shooting on a bright sunny day? I have a 10x and a 16x Super Snipers too. Don't remember them being this difficult.

The 20x will have more critical eye placement than either the 10x or 16x because of the added mag. That added mag will make the exit pupil smaller which makes eye placement have to be more exact. Just as the 16x will be more critical than the 10x.
At 20x they only have about 2mm of exit pupil so you will pretty much need exact eye placement from side to side, up and down, and eye relief will also be more critical. Or you will get those black circles you are talking about. The low light will also make this worse because even less light will be coming through the scope. I have never been a fan of scopes over about 16x for this reason. Sometimes the added mag is needed, but it comes with it downsides for sure. |

Sounds like maybe the eyepiece isn't focused properly if you couldn't get the reticle to be bright. The image will be duller/dimmer than the other scopes in lower light but the reticle should still be pretty visiable. The 20X I've played with weren't hard to get behind once focused. |

Thanks guys! Sounds like an exit pupil issue in low light. I will try to adjust the focus on the eyepiece too and shoot the 50 in more daylight conditions.
