I just wanted to say THANK YOU to the people who keep this forum filled with knowledge. I lurked around this board for a couple months determined not to spend $1000 for a $300 scope. After reading, waiting and reading some more. I finally purchased a SS10x42 with Burris Xtreme Tactical rings from SWFA. It was mounted on my Springfield M1A the day it arrived and went straight to the range. The scope sighted in without issue and held zero like a champ. Like most of my stuff, the rifle and scope went into the trunk of my county car (in a hard case of course) for a month. I shot 2 weeks ago and it still was perfectly zeroed. You guys made me look like a genius for buying this scope. :-)

Scope pron below

Nice rifle, a nice scope and VERY nice shooting.

My Super Sniper in Burris Xtreme Tactical Low rings is sitting on a 308 Mauser I built and has been dead on reliable so far.  I have not really tortured it (that's Mike's job, not mineBig%20Smile), but I am clumsy and it has taken a couple of unpleasant falls onto concrete with no change in zero whatsoever.

Tell us about the stock and which base you used.  Nice Rifle
Think I found the stock - http://www.westtexasarmory.com/jae100.htm but would like to know how you like it.

The JAE-100 is a terrific stock. I love it. It has 2 titanium lugs that secure the receiver. No more glass bedding needed Big%20Smile. It makes the rifle more balanced and improved the accuracy of the rifle by at least 1/2 moa. The fit and finish on the stock are top notch. It really needs to be held to appreciate the price tag. A nice review is below: http://www.tacticalintervention.com/reviewjae100stock.html

The base I use is a low profile ARMS #18. Its made of 8620 case hardened steel and has 3 points of contact. I was kinda paranoid about the mount shifting after zero.
