Swfa and bcg have partnered in a long range 22 sp project. Our final goal for June 2015 is a 1/4 mile pdog. We have already proven this possible on paper targets.

The super munk's base gun is a chipmunk by keystone arms. We added a green mtn barrel cut with out proprietary chamber reamer. A custom scope mount. 5oz trigger. Custom bolt knob. Bedding and a few other small things

We are just finishing up the barrel tuner and benchrest stock.

Swfa has provided us with a 12x42 ss. More to come!

More info on the super munk can be found thru the link below! And yes we build these for customers!

Over the next year we will be posting reviews of both the optic and the gun under this thread. Other shooters will also be doing reviews of both during this time. Once the bench stock is done we will do our first review on zeroing the new optic. In the photo above is our older 10x42 ss

Yes sir, they are .22 LR. Basically a standard KSA Chipmunk pistol that has been rebarreled and tweaked. These things are shooters. Chris and I came up with the idea on the drive back from Ernie Bishop's place in Wyoming after shooting prairie dogs out there in June. We set out to come up with an inexpensive .22 capable of taking a p-dog at longer ranges with a rimfire. Chris took the idea and ran with it, as well as I.

Chris got to work on his and I on mine. There are minor differences in the two but basically the same firearm. Again, they are shooters my friends! Chris has a heck of a write up on his website and after he teamed up with SWFA on the Munks, good things are to come. We'll both be doing further write ups on the two in the future on these.

Congrats Chris on the partnership with SWFA!!

The cone breach used in the super munk

Here is the wife trying to steal it. Yes now I have to make her a pink one. The biggest selling point of this thing has been that I can take anyone out to the shop range and they can run 1/5 scale steel without an issue.

Here is two groups at 200yds. Both groups would be great with a 22 at 200. I'm still learning the specialty pistol shooting. Grip consistency is huge. When I get it right the guns on fire. When I don't. I get a few flyers.

With wind and a 22 it's hard to get perfect conditions. I do have a natural "tunnel" to shoot thru to 200 yards that almost takes wind out of the equation.
