Hello all,

I recently purchased a pretty beat up pair of Steiner Military 7x50 B Binoculars and am wondering how I should go about refurbishing it.

From the looks of it, these have not been dropped and the lenses seem to be in alignment (both sides are equally bright).

So on that front they seem to be alright, however the rubberized jacket is coming away from the housing, very loose fitting and has a very sticky, tacky feeling to it, it's also well worn out, two large areas are rubbed down from extreme use. One eye cup has a pretty significant tear in it and the other has a very small cut which is barely noticeable.

No objective caps or rain guard were provided, nor was a strap.

How much am I looking at for repair costs and replacement item costs?

I'm also interested in purchasing some ARDs for this, would the Tenebraex Killflash work with these binoculars?

-Thanks,
Viu

Just wanted to illustrate shape of the objectives that seems to differ between the Military B and M22.

I would email someone at Burris as they are the new importer and service center too.

Thanks for the replies,

Burris quoted me about $160 for the repairs I'm looking for and replacement parts, however I'm still unsure if the Tenebraex Killflash will fit on these particular binos.
