I have a B&C Medalist that came factory on my Accumark. I like it very much. I'm actually looking into a Medalist just like your's for my .243. For the price, I think they are a great stock. I think Bigdaddy also has a stock like that. Those stocks seem to fit me very well, and are ergonomically very good.

I had a medalist that I just sold.  Only issue I had was with the in letting on the first one, but B&C took care of it.

I have one that I had to open the barrel channel on one side. After that, I have nothing but good things to say about it.

I received one for my Savage.  I plopped the action into the stock last night and it seems to fit well.  I'll be at the range with it in a couple of hours.

Mine is a green Medalist stock with black webbing.

ILya, what bipod are you using, and how did you mount it? Looks sturdy.

The bipod is a Versa Pod.  I think this one is Model 52.

It is not the steadiest bipod in the world, but it is pretty decent.  It makes for easy adjustability to uneven surfaces and I like the fact that there sling swivel stud adaptor stays on the rifle, while the bipod itself is easy to remove for storage or transportation.  The adaptor also has a nice hand rest built in.

Nice looking stock Koshkin, I was thinking of getting that one for my Rem 700, I will probably just do a black stock though.  How are the groups on the rifle in the B&C stock vs the groups with the previous stock? Was the previous stock a factory one?

The previous stock was a Choate Ultimate Varmint. The rifle was shooting quite well in that stock as well.  This one is more comfortable though and a bit lighter.

It is not strictly speaking light, but it is lighter than the Choate Ultimate Varmint by at least a pound.

I had one on a Savage and I found it heavy but I am looking at their Alaskan stocks now becasue of that. It would be great for a range gun. I just wouldn't want to lug one in the back country.
