Emptied the rain gauge this morning before I went to work and it had 3" in it.  Just got home and it had another 3" and still raining.  More rain tomorrow.

Sheeesh!  My tomato patch on my other lot is gonna be under water.

Good thing I got these just the other day

Sako, be happy you aren't  in Sweeny, it's a mean scene. Haven't seen rain like this since Fay. None in the house, but several on my street have.

Supposed to go the Guadalupe and visit friends this weekend. Dunno if we are or not at this point.

Breakfast!!  No, no, no.

Do you slice eggs on your sandwich?

Hmmmm, that sounds pretty good.

Hey neilbilly, how many inches you get down in Sweeny?

Hope this doesn't hatch another batch of those big skeeters

So far at my place 10 inches in the last 48 hours, and yes I'm already dreading when the sun comes out and a new skeeter crop hatches. It's going to be biblical here.

skeeters in texas are as big as they are here, thats okay, that makes them easier to kill.

True Pyro, and manno a manno it's fair, they don't play fair and pretty much gang rape you between the house and the car unless you're covered in DEET.

Front page headline and announcements on the radio "you see smoke, you call 911".

There were two house fires going at once yesterday afternoon.  Walked out on the ridge behind the house and could see smoke from one of them.

D*MN!!  Heard you from clear out in the garage!

2 1/4"  Ground took it well.  Runs and creeks are up some.  Even filled my small pond I mowed twice this summer.

I heard this morning that New York is still getting hvy rains.  We're suppose to get 30mph winds sometime today.  ALMOST can't remember those 100* days.

Yeah the 70s are much more enjoyable.  When its in the 90s I don't even like to do any testing at the range just plinking as 90s are way outside expected hunting temps.

Thats true for sure but so far the loads I've developed have been 1 to 2.5grs below listed max.  Of coarse I have a 26" barrel and most databooks list for shorter ones, so....  I load for accuracy not max fps.  I'm too frugle to hotload!
