I ordered a Vortex 4x14x44 HS-T and when it arrived it had a
very stiff power ring. I really like the scope and looked into buying the throw
lever Vortex sells for it (Vortex SV-2 Switchview Throwlever) but the best price
I could find was for $59.00 plus shipping – which I feel I shouldn’t have to
buy just to be able to turn the power ring when I have cold hands. I’ve heard some
Vortex scopes have this issue, so I assume it’ll be within their specs but I’ve
got 68 year old hands that aren’t getting any stronger.
Has anyone found any less expensive alternatives? |

maybe it just needs to be worked a little?? Ive ran into this issue before with various manufacturers scopes, usually it was just stiff because it was brand new..

I agree with Pyro, just work it a for a while and see if it loosens at all. If it doesn't, Vortex will take care of it.

If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?
