I can't say, but yes it's a Savage with the Stevens name, Savages are known to be very accurate right out of the box. I would go to Savage website and see for yourself, then let the range work tell the tale. Keep us posted.

They usually shoot very well with only a little trigger work if they don't come with the accutrigger. The newest models are now using the accutrigger , the older ones can use some adjustment or replacement with a SSS, riflebasics, or timney. Make sure the barrel is floated (not touching) and the action screws are tight and give it a try....

From what I have read the Stevens rifle is an old 110 and is suppose to shoot very well.  The reviews I have read have been very favorable, especially considering the low cost.  For less than 100 dollars you can purchase a Timney or Rifle Basix trigger and for a little over a 100 dollars a Bell and Carlson Carbelite stock drop in stock and you will have one fine rifle.  Or you could leave it alone and still have a nice rifle.  The trigger will be the weak point of the rifle.  The trigger can be replaced by you with instructions with the replacement triggers above, with no or minimal alterations to the stock.

Enjoy your rifle, it should be a pretty good shooter. Like dolphin said the tupperware stock can use some improvement but the duramaxx is a good one with different color cobwebbing and pillars like the factory. I got one and love it, foreend is quite stiff also.
