Can anyone tell me how to realign my steiner military-marine 8x30 binos?

Send them back for Warranty repair.

Thanks. However, these binos are no longer under warranty. I've had them a long time, and I'm led to understand that sending them in for factory repair would be prohibitively expensive.
I was hoping to repair them myself.

Either send them in or send them to a repair service.  If you really want to screw up a binocular, just try collimating it yourself.  You might do it IF it has an eccentric collimation ring in the objectives.  Likely it has prism plates that need to be adjusted, in which case the rubber armor may need to be removed.  You are probably asking for trouble.

Having said the above, I can repair some porro prism binoculars, but I have no idea how to go about the Steiner, since I don't have one to look over.
