Hey people!  I just joined up here from a recomendation on snipercentral.  Thanks for having me.

Ok here goes with the question;

Now I might have a new problem with my scope. My elevation clicks are 2 click to each .25 moa mark. One click is noticeable and solid, then if I rotate the knob a bit more (but still in the same .25 moa mark) it is followed by a smaller much less noticeable click. Basically I have 2 clicks for each .25 moa. Windage doesnt do this.

Which way is your SS, One solid click or one solid followed by one really small one per .25 moa?

If it is supposed to be one click followed by another tiny one, which click makes the actual adjustment?  Since windage only clicks one I'm sure when the adjustment is dialed in.

Thanks in advance!

Adam

If your set screws are tight, there may be a problem with the internals somehow, Adam.

Notify SWFA of the problem.

interesting, mine kinda does the same thing on the way down only. 1 positive click w good feel, then an inaudible one, i have to go slow to feel. how does yours track? mine has POSSIBLY started to over adjust on the way down only. ive got a thread here about it, but it has become a torque wrench discussion hehe. i  had noticed a bit of strange feel to my elevation adj, but never paid any account to it.

I called SWFA just now and as expected, they are sending out a new one.  I will update when it comes in.  I will never buy another optic through the mail from anyone but SWFA. (I still do support my local gun shop with other items)   Amazing service and they stand behind their products at SWFA.  THANKS!

OK, new SS10x42 in, same crappy adjustment problem.  The entire purpose of getting this scope for me was repeatable and precise adjustments.

Are you Super Sniper owners 100% sure that you don't get double clicks when clicking slowly and listening. Most clicks are ok, but sometimes there will be a string of a full MOA or so where I get double clicks(one loud solid click folowed by one real quiet one). Please if you own one of these scopes get back to me about if your scope does this. Am I being paranoid about hearing one loud and one small per quarter MOA or should it not be like this. Anyone else ever have this experience with ANY other brand doing this? I have it on video if anyone wants to see exactly what I mean. This is the third scope in a row that has done this.

Help is appreciated. If you have time please crank your knobs and make sure your scopes don't do this. I want to be sure I'm not being too picky.

Thank you!!

Adam

Check your 3 set screws, mount it up and go shoot it.

Did you actually mount up the other SS's and shoot them?
