hi, I have a 10 power MOA.  I have had it for about 1 year. it is nice and clear. Yesterday I loaded some 7 mm amo 1/2 gr lighter.  It was off to the left 3/4 inch.  I tried to bring it over to hit bulls eye. I got it to hit bulls eye. Then it shot 3 inches to the left and down 1 inch. I thought i made a mistake. I shot 2 more times. The same area. Not a good group. Checked everything on my gun. Decided to go 3 MOA to the right.  it went 6 inches from last group!! I had someone else shoot it. It was the same.  What are the warranties on this scope?  If it needs fixing can i up grade to a 16 or 20 power?  Thank you.

My suggestion would be to call SWFA on Monday. They do stand behind their scopes. I would also check all the connections, I.E. rings to the scope, rings to the base, base to the receiver. I have had them all rattle loose, esp. on a magnum. Anther way to tell, is to look in front of both rings for evidence of the scope sliding forward during recoil.
If it is tourist season, why can't we shoot them?

Yep, sounds like ring problems, but I might be wrong. I had the same thing happen on my beloved 10x SS in crappy rings.

If at first you don't secede...try..try again.

Suggestion from one of my gunsmiths a long time ago:  ALWAYS check attachment screws EVERYTIME before you use your firearm.  Never put it up without checking, never take it out without checking.

From experience... I was at the range using someone else's rifle in Afghanistan and I didn't check everything before shooting... the optic fell off while I was firing... ALWAYS check.
Opinion,untempered by fact,is ignorance.

There are some who do not fear death... for they are more afraid of not really living

Wow! Good thing it happened at the range and instead of in the field.

And thanks for your service!
