I have a newby question here. I'm trying to find my mechanical zero to my super sniper 10x and I counted 659 total clicks. This i assume gives me a mech. zero of 329 with a total of 164 moa. This seems to be alot, have I done something wrong?

they run well over 100 moa on average.  Counting clicks gets you lost.  Try it by counting MOA.  15 per full rev.  Save the "clicks" (drives me nuts when folks do that) for the fine math at the end of rotation.

Here's the trick for mechanical zero;

Find a boxthat the scope can lay across without the end bells or turrets hitting the bot.

Cut a pair of shallow V notches in the box, and the point where the scope touches each side.
Place the scope in the V notches and rotate.
Watch the crosshair.
As you adjust the elev and windage toward center, the crosshair will occilate less and less until you get to mechanical center, then the crosshair will remain stationary as the scope revolves.

Takes two minutes to comprehend this and15 seconds to get the scope set to 0

HMMMM I'm usually only concerned with zeroing the scope with where the bullet strikes.   Somebody must have a lot more time to spend on the range than I do.

Good Job Mike

Michael likes to shoot at 100 yards, then next shot at 1,000 yards then next shot at 673 yards, etc.

And he does not miss.
