Any recommendations on either......RRA AR-15 20" Bull Barrel will use ARMS mounts (at 1st may change later)....Want something more than a 3X9 and another scope I am looking at is a couple of Nikons.....Want something in the $400.00 price range (or less)....

Thanks in advance....

how far are you shooting wiht this??? you prbably dont need the 20 power, i shot a Ghog at 673 yards with my RRA 18" w/ SS10X42, and i could see it fine.

I agree.  20-24x is way overkill on a 5.56 out to it's max range.

The Bushnell 6-24x40 is a fine scope, I have one.  I would point out that the tube is very LONG.  It's gonna look really funky on a 20" AR.   It might even hit the front site!!!  I have mine on a 24" .308 AR type and it looks funky,  The objective end sits above 3/4s the length of the float/forearm tube (without a shade).

Yes it would!  It would look even better on a Remington VLS placed into my gun safe!

The SS 20X has a narrow field of view and poor light transmission.  I think you would be better off with a variable or the SS 16X.
