Thanks Mike.

Actually, the scopes set up for 168gr. SMK's, not the 155gr. I shot the above group with.

The 155gr. Palmas seem to shoot low and left.

I shot the center diamond out of some Shoot N-C's with the 168gr. today.

Thanks for leaving your Shoot N-C's out at the 100 yard line for me today, fellas!!!

Actually, I'm a little surprised they turned out so good considering I was freezing out at the range Sunday morning!

Man, my teeth were chattering!!

Thanks Brother.

Just happened to have a good day with no wind. I mean dead calm.

Good rifle, solid scope, rings and the 155gr. bullets with Varget powder seems like keeper too.

Just as soon as I can get this crappy 'ol Remington to start grouping good, Brother....

Seriously, my Mother just gave me a digital camera for my early birthday present the other day.

I'll try to put some pics together.

There's some real good pics folks have posted for the contest, so it will be tough for me to win.

Hey CT,

I saw the pictures of Black Betty sporting a Nikon.  What are you using on the Stock?  Is that a slip-on or perminant check pad?  and if you don't mind, who's? Did you add it for the height of the rings.  By the grouping above, cheek weld wasn't an issue.

Mike

Mike

Hello and Merry Christmas, Steel Benz!

Yeah, I just got the Nikon 6.5-20x44mm Monarch w/ illuminated Mil Dot in medium rings.

http://www.opticstalk.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=5177&PN=1

Eagle Stock Pad is a slip on I just got in. VERY good product.

http://www.greenmountaintactical.com/Eagle_Rifle_Stock_Pack_ p/eag-stkpkl.htm

I have found that it does raise the cheek weld up somewhat as well.

But, with the Super Sniper and Standard Badger rings, it's right on the money.

With the Nikon in medium rings, I'm having to look up a little too much. Bad cheek weld.

Koshkin was kind enough to send me a piece of Sorbothane(sp) to raise it up about a 1/4".

I wrapped this 6" by 6" piece of Sorothane around the stock, then strap the Stock Pack on and it works very well.

Thanks for noticing.

I highly recommend the Eagle Stock Pack. Good gear!
