heard about this on the radio this morning to bad!! i like their stores for reloading supplies. they have good prices on guns often as well.

Stuart Utgaard, the Chairman and CEO of Sportsman's Warehouse Holdings, today announced that the company is taking two major actions to improve liquidity.

1. 23 stores are being liquidated to reduce bank debt. 2. 15 stores are being sold to UFA Co-op.

• Coeur d’Alene, ID

• Silverdale, WA
• Spokane, WA

It is hoped that these actions will enable the firm to go forward as a viable entity with approximately 2,300 employees. Sportsman's Warehouse is a leading outdoor retailer of sporting goods headquartered in Midvale, Utah.

me too, at least the fargo store may stick around. they have gander hill in fargo too.

They built a store in Victorville, CA which is about a hour away from my house (kind of out in the boonies) anyway they built a nice big store and it went out of business in less than 3 months

It was a very sad day for me when the Lewisville, TX Sportsman's Warehouse location shut down, leaving us with only C@belas, 2 Bass Pros, and about 30 gun stores.Really Sad

Well, all the Utah stores are being left alone.  I wonder if that means they will have a better supply of stuff now? 

Oh, and what happens to the stores sold to the UFA Co-Op?  Will they be franchised as Sportsman's Warehouses or will they change names and become something totally different?  If the latter, how does this differ from simply "liquidating" them like the ones on the other list?

This is very sad to me, as it was my "go to" store for all my hunting and shooting needs, even developed some good realationships with some of the people there.
