well looking into one for hunting because they look good in the specs and great in price prolly the 10x42 sound good to you guys? wanna know your thoughts on these scopes and which one would be best for hunting... thanks!

what kind of hunting. for me, 10X is WAYY too much power for me for hunting.

eh just the old deer doe buck hunting in pennsylvania prolly round 400yds max but thatll happen once every like 3yrs.. but i shoot targets more but there at 300yds about... if you cna think of a cheaper scope for my needs that would be good or a better one for same price. THANKS!

you cant get a tactical scope for the same price as good as the SS, and i dont think you can get a better one till you get up past $1k. i ditto ranburr aswell, on the 3-9x40, look into burris, they have the ballistic reticle, and all you have to do is know the range,and hold over on the right mark. the FF2 3-9x40 with the free spotter is the best deal going right now, and its just at 197.95, and you can probably step up to a signature in your price range, and get a little more scope.

hey thanks guys.. i was looking at the  bushnell 3200...and i heard someone talking here on these forums that the ff's werent that good.. or i could have misread the post..thanks
