Good question-- i couldn't find any info. on the website. Looks like simply a 1st focal plane ranging reticle (subtensions don't change with magnification changes), such that ranging can be accomplished at any magnification. No doubt it's setup for several different size tgts or different ranges with the same size tgt.

At 1st glance i'm not particularly fond of it. I always like ranging reticles that double as ballistic reticles easily, like TDS. Ballistic Plex/Varmint Hunter/Boone & Crockett, etc. could be adapted for both functions easily enuf. U could use the Simmons reticle for both also, altho a little less efficiently.
